apppshot has no accounts and no sign-up. It doesn't set cookies or follow you around other sites.
What happens when you visit
- The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs, like your IP address and browser, to serve pages and stop abuse.
- Vercel Web Analytics counts page views, so I can see which pages people visit. It records the page, the site you came from, your country and your browser and device type. It uses no cookies and doesn't identify you.
- Screenshots and app icons load from Apple's servers, and the font loads from Google Fonts. So Apple and Google see an ordinary request from your browser, and their own privacy policies apply.
- Your browser may keep small settings on your device, like whether interface sounds are on. They aren't sent anywhere.
If you submit an app
The App Store link you paste is sent to a private Discord channel so I can review it. Nothing else about you is sent with it.
If you get in touch
If you email or message on X, your address or handle and what you wrote are used to reply, and for nothing else. Nothing is sold or shared.
Sponsors
Sponsored links go straight to the sponsor's site. apppshot doesn't track who clicks them, and once you're on their site, their privacy policy applies.
